Tracking Tools and Equipment

Adding an item to the list only takes a few minutes. It is in the register for the life of the tool.

Enter the description and serial code where applicable. Scan the barcode. Select the location where the item is to be used / stored. It is now ready.

There are options to enter:

a)      The date and place of purchase

b)       Price paid and insured value

c)      Warranty expiry date

d)      Include up to five photos

When the item is no longer required, add how and when it was disposed of.

Moving the item to a new location.

When it arrives on a new project, simply scan the barcode and change the location.

Everyone knows where it is and the item will be included in the Test / Inspect for that project as well as any stocktakes.
